Description
The harsh and dynamic marine environment poses significant challenges for offshore wind turbine (OWT) operations, particularly in estimating fatigue loads driven by coupled wind and wave interactions, especially when it comes to estimating and predicting fatigue loads caused by wind and wave interactions. In order to enable accurate coupling of environmental stresses, this work presents a framework for incorporating real-time weather data. The suggested method estimates fatigue loads under various operational and environmental situations by utilizing real-time data and fatigue estimation models. The findings demonstrate potential for enhanced structural integrity monitoring of OWTs. This framework paves the way for more resilient and sustainable offshore wind energy systems.
