Progress in both fundamental and applied sciences relies on the accurate solution of discretized initial boundary value problems (IBVPs). This workshop aims at fostering exchange of recent progress and novel ideas among scientists in both applied mathematics and physics, working on the discrete formulation of IBVPs with a focus on symmetry preservation, conservation laws and boundary treatment.
The workshop takes place at the University of Stavanger Ullandhaug Campus.
Participation is free of charge thanks to support by the European Consortium of Innovative Universities (ECIU) (see also UiS ECIU homepage) with complimentary coffee and refreshments during the breaks.
