Description
1 Project Background
1.1 The Jockey Club “Love & Respect” School Empowerment Programme is a territory-wide project based in Hong Kong, serving 100 primary schools of all SEC and cultural background, particularly for schools who would like to tackle bullying issues at school.
1.2 Interventions are mainly delivered by Social Workers (franchise currently no available), while teachers and parents training is a major part of project promotion of the whole-school approach and engagement.
2 36 Sessions SEL Curriculum Design
2.1 6 sessions for each Grade 1-6, total of 36 sessions of 1 hour each.
2.2 Comprehensive training for teachers on the delivery of sessions and anti-bullying message.
2.3 5 Components of Anti-bullying is integrated into Hong Kong context and with local case and experience sample.
3 Implementation & Adaptation of Keywords in Asian Context (Bystanders, Upstanders, Anti-bullying)
3.1 Cultural influence on the roles in bullying taken in Hong Kong
3.2 Constraints and Difficulty in promotion of upstanders
3.3 Insights in working with clients of Asian Background
